Fundraising appeal

WILPF UK needs your help!

We do all we can to keep our expenditure to a minimum, but we are in a situation where we are spending more than our income and are dipping into our reserves. We are moving to a smaller office in the Housmans building in Caledonian Road, Kings Cross, London, next month, and this will help our finances, but will not be sufficient to close the gap.

WILPF UK depends mainly on membership subscriptions to run our organisation and campaigns, we do also seek external funding where possible but this is increasingly difficult to secure. Our membership subscription prices have not been raised for many years, and we are grateful that many of you add an additional amount when paying the subscription. We understand that most people are experiencing the pressures of the cost of living crisis but we do need to ask those of you who are in a position to do so, to consider making a special donation now. Visit our website to make an online donation or send it to our new address at WILPF UK, 5 Caledonian Road, London N1 9DY. It would be even better if you are able to set up a regular standing order to WILPF UK (sort code 08-92-99 account no 65107074).

We are very proud of our new website. It features news, resources and letter templates available for your campaigning, recordings of past webinars, activities of WILPF UK that you can join as well as and online shop with merchandise and books to purchase.

You could also help by recruiting a new member.  You may be talking to someone who shares our views, so you could suggest our website, where they could join.

WILPF UK is active in so many ways as members will know, and this month we have been taking action in DSEI Arms Fair in London.

WILPF have been in existence since 1915, and with your help we hope we can look forward to the next 100 years of campaigning for a feminist, inclusive, egalitarian, decolonised demilitarised world.
