Executive Committee member
Claire is the Co-ordinator at Network for Peace and has recently retired as office administrator at Peace News and at Christian CND. She has also worked for National Peace Council in the 1990s, Abolition 2000 UK in the early 2000s and is on various boards including Nuclear Education Trust and Housmans Board of Directors. Claire is a long-time member of a variety of organisations: CND, PPU, Fawcett, London Wildlife Trust, Campaign for Real Ale, RSPB, Art Fund, Kew Gardens and Living Streets and believes these reflects her interests. She is also secretary of the local Green Party.

If you have been a member of WILPF for more than six months and would like to be more involved, you could become a member of our Executive Committee. Members can be nominated for election or co-opted onto the Committee throughout the year if there are vacancies.
Members of the Executive Committee are expected to contribute throughout the year and attend Executive meetings. Matters which will not wait until the next meeting are dealt with by email discussion, and Executive Committee members are expected to respond.
Meetings are currently held on Zoom, and any member who is interested can join any meeting, whether or not they are a member of the Executive Committee. Try it and see if it is for you!
