This Global Call will be a space for collective dialogue: to share, reflect, and think strategically about WILPF’s global priorities, how we address current and emerging challenges, and what needs to evolve in our approaches and commitments.
This conversation is particularly timely as we are entering the phase of reviewing WILPF’s International Programme (IP)—our strategic roadmap that outlines the goals and actions underpinning our feminist peace activism – ahead of the 2026 International Congress. More information on the participatory process to review the IP is coming soon. In the meantime, this Global Call will be a great opportunity to kick off the process with insights from members as a starting point.
This Global Call is envisioned as a “big picture” moment—a chance to reflect on WILPF’s direction and priorities within a shifting global landscape.
Ahead of the call, we invite you to reflect—either individually or together with your Section or fellow WILPFers—on the following questions that will shape our collective discussion:
- Considering today’s context, what does WILPF look like in 2035? What will we have achieved together?
- If WILPF were to focus on three top global priorities for the next 3 years, what should they be?
- In a time of growing global pushback, what does WILPF need to do differently to strengthen and organise effectively for feminist peace?

There will be other opportunities to engage in the IP review process, but we strongly encourage you to start these important conversations with your Section, Group, or fellow members now.
