WILPF Brighton we will be holding their annual commemoration to mark this 80th anniversary since the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and three days later of Nagasaki, killing hundreds of thousands of people and leaving others with life -long illnesses and wounds.
The Mayor of the city, Councillor Amanda Grimshaw, will speak and will be followed by Dr Rebecca Johnson of WILPF and ICAN.
We shall have a scroll for people to write their thoughts on Child Victims of War which we will be taking to the three MP’s to be part of a conversation about Peace and Disarmament.
