We will be at the Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton setting up the room from 2pm with the meeting starting at 2.30pm. We are delighted that Anne is willing to continue being treasurer. Jenny is willing to continue as secretary, with the help of the subgroup to prepare tasks for events and for us to share those tasks with those able to.
After the formalities we shall have some refreshments and then watch and listen to a power- point presentation by long term member Baroness Joyce Gould, who has spent many years in the House of Lords working at enhancing the lives of women. She travelled to various countries to gain insight into di\ering issues and collect evidence to back her recommendations to the Lords. Prior to that she had been the Chief Women’s Officer for the Labour Party with all the interesting work that entailed. It should be fascinating afternoon.
