The Third Meeting of States Parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) will take place on 3 to 7 March 2025 at United Nations Headquarters in New York. TPNW was adopted on 7 July 2017 at the United Nations and entered into force on 22 January 2021. It was the first multilateral nuclear disarmament treaty to be negotiated in more than two decades.
Discussions will focus on advancing the Treaty’s implementation and fostering multilateral cooperation for nuclear disarmament.
Civil society organisations are encouraged to participate and contribute to side events, working papers, and statements. Accreditation and registration are required, with deadlines and processes outlined in the official UN information note.
