Alternative Remembrance Ceremonies take place across the UK.
Organised by Peace Pledge Union, The National Alternative Remembrance Ceremony takes place every year in front of the memorial stone for conscientious objectors in Tavistock Square in Blomsbury. We will observe two minutes’ silence and white poppy wreaths will be laid on the memorial in memory of all victims of war.
WILPF UK members often attend the London event.
